As a legal representative, he also defended clients in disputes over compensation for damages caused by public authorities, including negotiations and out-of-court dispute resolution. In lawsuits concerning administrative actions against decisions of administrative authorities – tax administrators and authorities supervising public procurement.
Michal has participated in several leading media holdings acquisitions, as well as transactions related to exit deals of real estate projects. He was an integral part of the team working on the acquisition of a foreign bank and covered the preparation of documentation for the reorganization of a leading pharmacy chain in Slovakia. As part of his practice, Michal´s focus on legal and regulatory compliance in relation to ICT, environmental and pharmaceutical law issues.

During his career, he has worked with companies and groups in Slovakia and abroad. Civil and commercial law, administrative law and intellectual property law are his areas of expertise. He was involved in several M&A transactions, where he drafted transaction documentation, performed due diligence, and assessed competition law aspects of the transaction.
Michal is certified by FLI Network with a focus on identifying corrupt conduct and anti-money laundering. As both a lawyer and a technology enthusiast, he has authored articles and publications focusing mainly on intellectual property. He is currently working on a rigorous thesis focusing on the legal aspects of liability for damages caused by artificial intelligence.
